Once you have decided to go ahead one of T25 Home Improvement’s Technical Surveyor’s will visit your home to complete a full technical survey. They will be more than happy to talk you through any queries you may have about the design of your tiled conservatory roof and talk you through the options you have chosen. Up to this point you still have time to make any changes to the design, before we put your new roof in to manufacturing.
On the first day we will arrive on site and protect the work area where required. We cover floors, window seals and anything else that is needed. If there is an opening between your conservatory and living area we will either board or sheet that up.
The old glass or polycarbonate conservatory roof is carefully removed and disposed of. The waste management companies that we use recycle all our waste materials where possible.
The timber pods are manufactured off site so we can speed up the process on site. An average roof installation takes three days from start to finish.
Once the ring beam is installed, the timber pods are put in to place and fixed tightly together. The timber pod system we use is vented, so you will never get any condensation.
Once the timber pods are all installed a breathable and waterproof membrane is installed for a complete weather seal.
We have offer lightweight shingle or slate tile options. They come in many different colour options, to match the existing tiles on your home. The ones in this image are the titanium grey Britmet shingle.
With all our tiled conservatory roof conversions, we always install new facias, gutters and downpipes. We can match the colour/style on your house.
We use 155mm of EPS insulation which along with the insulated plasterboard we use gives a u-value of 0.15. This insulation build-up exceeds the requirements Part L of the Building Regulations for thermal performance.  In simple terms, our tiled conservatory roofs keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Once the ceiling has been boarded with insulated plasterboard for that extra warmth, we skim the ceiling to give it a night smooth look, ready for decorating.
We can install different types of lighting in to your new roof, including pendent lights and LED lights.
All waste is removed from site and we also have our own clean team who will come in after our installers have left making sure your new living space is gleaming.
Once the installation is complete we issue the Final Certificate from Building Control (where applicable) and provide the 10-year insurance-backed guarantee documentation.
The process of a conservatory roof replacement can take 3-5 days depending on the size of your conservatory and the specification of your design.
